[TR] TR-4 fan hub extension...

Listers,

 

I removed the fan hub extension on my '64 TR-4 (CT38104L) to install an
electric fan.  It came out as a single piece, but my manual shows it as two
pieces; a "snout" and an end piece that has a keyway machined in it. Does
any one know if they made both one and two piece fan hub extensions? Or are
they all two pieces and mine just needs to be separated?  If the latter, any
recommendations for separating them?
