This is the second year for this event which is a 3-day, no-frills,
800 mile drive around the SouthWest:

I post the link on the off chance someone other than locals might be
interested but also in the hope that it might inspire others to stage
similar drives in their own locales.

For me (and perhaps you) this is the essence of enjoying the car --
2-lane blacktop, twisty roads and a fine assortment of the best
Britain had to offer in the Golden Age of sports cars.
