With respect Randall, it's not curious at all. Personally, I'm not worried which chamber feeds which 
circuit but if the Spitfire is different to others, then that's in the true Standard-Triumph 
tradition of "never try to be consistent." It's rather like the vagairies of the C.E.O.S.S. 
production standard (as applicable to ST) being infinitely variable.
