We have gone for the Nuvi 200  ... does everything we need, even 
bought a UK "chip" for our travel to the UK,  the only addition I 
would suggest would be a "stylus" type pen for inputting 
names/addresses  etc.  I agree that you should avoid all the "add 
ons" bluetooth, mp3, video ... not worth the effort  .. IMHO... the 
200 is currently selling for around $150 and it works ...
