Sure.  Apply 12 volts to the two terminals and the plunger should move.  

The bottom off the valve (opposite the terminals) is open to the bottom of 
the plunger.  You can push it in with your finger to see it move.  position the 
valve where you can see it and apply 12 volts and you should see it should 
pull in.
