Hi Tom,

That space or gap near the bottom of the wheel  arch and the side panel you
are questioning being short, is correct. You should have had in your kit
matching vinyl to cover that gap of about 3-4 inches at the bottom.

  someone else also years ago.  When I installed my carpets last Sept. I

  these installed wrong?  Did I get the wrong kit?
