Yes. I have installed it.  Yes I drilled the holes.  It is  not hard and I 
did it with a bench mount drill press.  Expect to spend a  couple of hours in 
setup time and twelve seconds drilling.  The motor has  gone though initial 
startup but the finished body is not on so I have no long  term experience.
