[TR] TR6 Clunk

Al the foregoing comments are relevant but there's one that most people missed. The TR6 rear
suspension is the same as on the Triumph Big Six saloons and you get 'clunks' and 'boings' from the
rear suspension too. Most times, this is because the bushes in the semi-trailing arms are worn and
need replacement. You notice this condition when cornering and it's often accompanied by a slight
rear end twitch as the back end settles into a new position. If splitting the rear half-shafts, a
chalk line across the two halves before separating will ensure they go back into the same grooves on
re-assembly.
