[TR] oil pressure gizmo

There are such  things, but they are rarely (if ever) found on cars.  
 
 
TR8s have them - fuel pump wired thru oil pressure switch - no oil  pressure, 
no power to fuel pump.
looks just like the oil pressure switch somebody posted a link to at Summit  
Racing.
