One thing to keep in mind when cleaning the tranny.  You can make it  look 
like a jewel if you like.  Degreaser and a power washer will make it  look good. 
 If you make it look like a jewel you are then going to bolt it  up behind 
the motor that, more likely than not, leaks oil, and it will  quite rapidly just 
look good. 
But then, that's just my experience.
