[TR] TR6 Color Question

Good evening all,

 After three years, I finally drove my 1972 TR6 to the paint shop. The car is
(supposed to be) damson with black on the back between the tail lights and
around the windscreen on the frame.

 The question: Is the black supposed to be flat, matte, semi-gloss, gloss? I'm
pretty sure it's not gloss, but not sure what to have him paint it to make it
correct.
