I say this because I once was fortunate enough to spend a bit of time
discussing automotive water pumps (specifically the two different Stag pumps) with
an automotive water pump specialist from Chrysler who belonged to our club.
My conclusion from that conversation was that adding vanes does not
necessarily improve water pump performance. Does anyone know if there is credible
evidence that it improves cooling in this case?
