[TR] Balancing The Fan

Another day, another inquiry...
 
According to the workshop manual, balancing the fan is a matter of
positioning guide holes in each piece
so that they all line up. (balance piece, through fan, through extension,
etc.).
 
The problem is that none of my pieces have these ~1/16" guide holes.
 
I've Googled it, and found nothing, but how does one do this without the
holes?
