[Tigers] Air cleaner color

                I’m not sure there is a Rootes Paint Code for this color.

The air cleaner plates were made by or for AC of England, AC probably painted them.

 

I have always been told a Hammer tone silver or gray.

I sprayed my air cleaner with Hammerite silver gray, ½ pint can.

I think I got it from Eastwood – not sure Eastwood carries it anymore.

 

Anyone have pictures of an original air cleaner paint?
