Ron,

I only know a little about seatbelts for Sunbeams.  My Tiger had Beam belts when I purchased it in 1977.  Not sure if they were dealer installed.  They are American made, so may have been installed by Rootes in New York.  Beam seatbelts are a classic flip design as used in airplanes and are still available today in multiple colors.  SeatBeltsPlus carry them.  I got new ones from JC Whitney years ago.  

Kangol seatbelts are the magnetic buckle type.  They were listed by Rootes in the Avenger/Cricket parts book.  

Britex belts were used in many British cars. They were of the push button type and listed for the 69 Alpine.

Irvin belts were made by the Irvin Parachute Company.   Not sure what Rootes vehicle these were listed for.   They are sought after and quite expensive.   

Attached are pictures.  Maybe some of our British or Australian friends can shed more light on this.

That would be a nice touch to the Beam seatbelts.  I was going.to use the LAT 70 spinner decal on mine until I found the Kangol belts.

On a side note. I heard back from Rick about the Product of Ford Motor Company decal and his response was: "We can't get these now".  He didn't say if they would be available again in the future.

 I have a small detail to add to a more general conversation on decals.

Some years back, I was given a pair of Sunbeam seatbelt decals - one decal for each seatbelt.

A picture of one is attached.

I assume these decals  fall under the category of “interesting” but not factory issue?

John is mostly correct with his statements.

Ford produced both stickers.

The Sunbeam or Rootes LTD sticker on one valve cover and the smaller Product of Ford Motor Company was place on the other valve cover.

The Sunbeam and Rootes LTD sticker could be the one listed in the Parts List – 6100161   C4JZ-6404-B  Engine Name Plate.

The smaller sticker is not listed as a separate part number.

Sometimes the Sunbeam sticker was placed on the other valve cover, for the US market that is the passenger side.   I can only guess the smaller sticker was placed somewhere on the left valve cover.

Attached is a picture I found that shows its position on the right side valve cover.   I do not have a picture of the smaller sticker on the left valve cover.   If someone has a picture, please send it to the List.

Generally, these original stickers do not fair well with heat cycles and age.   They have disintegrated and faded with time.

Ford sticker

It was on the upper front passenger side of the valve cover. I have a original sticker that is in rough shape. 

When I restored my Tiger I purchased a label for the door sill plates but it was larger in width and length.

Years ago someone was going to reproduce this sticker but I never saw any for sale.
