The factory tee is also a size reducer, that’s 
why it’s still there.
The way to tell what engine it is is to pull
the starter and look at the casting number.
A 260 or a 302 5.0 can be dressed the same.
The only matching number is a build date
stamped into a small boss on the block in
front of the driver side head.
Engine swaps in Tigers are almost universal.
