From my 2016 post on this list.
16 tooth gear is about $11.00 shipped on eBay.

I thought I remembered buying the Tiger speedometer gears a long time ago so I went through my parts and found them, thought the list might be interested in pictures, and the info. I have written down for them, don't remember where I got the info.

So I logged on to Kee’s web site and checked the parts out. The speedo gear is 15 bucks, a keeper is 4.50 for just about 20 bucks. Then Just for chuckles I out those into a cart with my zip code. Shipping prices are bat sh*t.  18 bucks for standard shipping, up to 96 bucks for hurry up. What I called a standard rate for shipping was 40 bucks.   This pat weighs less than a standard envelope… Sure glad I have my OEM one.

Speedo gears, on cars driven so little, are likely to last near forever.   Would  it be worth making 15T ones to fit the 2.88: gear set with the small diameter size tires? Likely not.  As mentioned before, a + 1 tire size might be enough for the ratio  discrepancy (6%), and that is probably good enough.

I am good to go, …

David Kee toploaders has a 16 tooth gear. That might be “Close enough for Government Work” as my dad used to say.

Just had an idea,  thought I would throw it out there in Tiger land.  Any reason someone that has a 3-D printer couldn’t make a 15 tooth speedometer gear for the Tiger??  Could sell a bunch??
