[Tigers] Engine removal/ paint questions

The 302 rotating assembly can be fitted to a 5 bolt 289 block, enabling the stock top loader to be used if desired.

I’m unsure about a roller cam but hydraulic lifter and solid lifter cams should’t be a problem.

I’m running a 302 rotating assembly paired to the Holman Moody hydraulic lifter version of the 289 HIPO cam with big valve
Aluminum heads and CAT headers.

The stock toploader was kept although I’m considering the addition of a 5 speed.

This isn’t as radical a setup as a roller cam provides but is a good option for a more warm than hot setup.
