Paint code 58 is Midnight Blue – Ditzler # 12633

The problem is that these old paint codes do not correspond or translate well into the new paint codes of today.

1st you need to see about getting the color match paint code you want for your car.

If someone here has the current paint code for #58, pass it along.

Any Automotive paint shop should be able to mix the paint in single stage or base coat/ clear coat.

Single stage or BC/CC will most likely be determined by the painter’s preference.

Water base paints are sold to Professional Spray Paint Shops only as far as I know. I have asked about water base paints and they would not sell them to me.

You really need a paint booth with correct equipment to spray, dry and cure water base paint.
