Graham Vickery sent me this note.

The drawing seems to have a time frame around March 1964.

Thank you Graham and the Rootes Archive for the extra information surrounding this drawing.

Be well and stay well to all

Ron Fraser

Hi Ron

The Tiger drawing displayed on the 'List' is undated.

It's serial number is though within a small series of drawings all dated March 1964.

It is a Rootes drawing, as opposed to Pressed Steel. The author 'E W, Gould' was a Rootes draughtsman.

You'll note the model is 'Alpine 260'. It took some months before 'Tiger' appeared.

Incidentally, Sunbeam Alpine 260 was the official internal name for the model (Tourer & GT). And is frequently noted as Sunbeam Alpine Project 260 as well.

Never seen 'Thunderbolt' on any drawing.

If nothing else lockdown enables the pursuit of such details!!

Best Wishes.

Graham
