[Tigers] 260 Engine's Weaknesses

I just read the B.A.T. Success Story on B382002035 in which the seller
stated that the 260 broke in 1989 on a return trip from a Tiger meet in
Colorado.
Since I elected to reinstall my original 260 with screw-in rocker studs in
the original iron heads, I'd begun to question what else was prone to break
inside the engine, assuming the revs are kept below 5000. A week after I
bought my 21,000 mileage Tiger on 6/10/1969, I pulled a rocker stud out
at 4400 rpm and dropped a valve into the piston. I didn't know about
that crucial weakness. I'd be interested to know whether the 260 has
other weaknesses.
