[Tigers] Correct gauges

Here's the gauge that fried. Unfortunately, I broke off the needle taking the thing apart to see if it could be repaired. I think I'll use this as a host for a Voltmeter conversion, since I'm not excited about all the power running through a gauge in the dash anyway. When the shunt opened, the car lost all power at 70 mph in the left lane of the freeway. No more engine, no more turn signals, brake lights, anything. Quite exciting. Has anyone converted one of these, or do you just buy an aftermarket voltmeter and install it. I kind of like the idea of it at least appearing factory.

Answered my own question:  After WWI, the British subsidiary (British Jaeger) of Jaeger of Paris secured the manufacturing rights to the chronometric mechanism and manufactured these very reliable chronometric mechanisms at a factory at Willesden. In 1927 British Jaeger was purchased by Smiths Industries Limited.

I see lots of Lucas gauges on ebay, but not Jaeger. Thanks for any insight.
