[Tigers] Fwd: Smiths Tiger clocks

After doing some more measuring I have determined that the bezel on the
Speedhut clock will hit the bezel of the heater controls. I went back to
my Rootes Group hole cover and figured out how to restore the faded
letters. On the back of the badge you can see that the letters are raised.
I gently scraped off the remaining silver paint with a razor blade and some
fine sandpaper. This left the letters transparent. At this point I
suppose you could rig up a couple of LEDs and have the letters backlit at
night. But I painted over the letters with some silver paint and it looks
original now.
