<div dir="ltr">After doing some more measuring I have determined that the bezel on the Speedhut clock will hit the bezel of the heater controls. I went back to my Rootes Group hole cover and figured out how to restore the faded letters. On the back of the badge you can see that the letters are raised. I gently scraped off the remaining silver paint with a razor blade and some fine sandpaper. This left the letters transparent. At this point I suppose you could rig up a couple of LEDs and have the letters backlit at night. But I painted over the letters with some silver paint and it looks original now. <div><div><img src="cid:ii_jy3pyzva0" alt="image.png" width="202" height="202" style="margin-right: 0px;"><br></div></div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Joe Brown</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sat, Jul 13, 2019 at 9:22 PM Joe Brown <<a href="mailto:jbbrown1980@gmail.com" target="_blank">jbbrown1980@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="auto">The only problem with the Speedhut clock is that it fits a 66mm hole and the original clock hole in the dash is about 62mm. Great service to the community if we could come up with a dead-on
