I would not think towing with a dolly would do much more than reduce wear to the front tires and eliminate the need for a conventional tow bar attachment. Personally I have flat towed my Tiger close to 10K miles with no other adjustments. The only suggestion might be if you have drum brakes back them off to reduce any drag.

I curious of the List's consensus on whether a Tiger can be safely towed on a two-wheeled car dolly? For example, are there any special precautions which must be observed to avoid mechanical damage? Is there anything unusual about the geometry or dimensions of a Tiger which make the use of a tow dolly inadvisable? All wisdom valued but I would especially appreciate hearing from anyone whose actually done it, and the results either good or bad.

Thanks
Terry Packer
