Brent, Thanks for the information. I have a set of Twisted Wedge Trick Flow heads. A friend of mines son built a 5.0 engine for his Mustang 2 but had to sell the engine to pay for an attorney. He had the heads ported and Chevy valves installed. The heads are still on the engine and I've not seen the engine/heads.My now retired machinist friend, a dedicated Ford person, installed Chevy valves in the 1965 cast iron heads I run on my 5 bolt 289 and the valves certainly made a huge difference in the power output of the 5 bolt.

Tony, I just bought a Scat 331 kit Part number 1-94060BE from Summit. It was $1482 delivered to my door.
A local guy had them for a little cheaper but I would have had to drive across town and pay sales tax that would
have made it higher than summit. For what I use the car for, 99.9% on the street, these are great kits. Haven't put it
in the car yet but I did put the short block together. It comes with bearings but I had to get some clevite .001"
under to get my main clearances. So far everything looks good. What heads did you get? I'm going with the AFR
heads.
Brent
