[Tigers] rotating assembly

Just put together a 331 roller cam engine (1986 HO), and used Speedway
Motors kit with forged crank H-Beam rods and Keith Black pistons. About
$1200 plus cost of rings which were not included. The main problem was the
kit did not come balanced, and my local Ford machine shop, at firs,t didn't
think they could balance it because of where it needed to be machined.
They wouldn't guarantee the crank, so I had them do it anyway, and it
turned out good. I don't think I'd buy another unbalanced kit. I had it
balanced 28oz since that was the flywheel I was using. My damper was after
market and adjustable to 28oz. I think you can go 0oz, 28oz or 50oz as
long as the flywheel and damper match, but someone else might know more
about this possibility. Cliff
