Reguards to the water pump.
.
In about 1988 or 1989 I took my Tiger 260 water pump into a local rebuilder
who ran vans around Washington D.C. to supply local garages..
Put the pump on the counter, pointed out the nonstanderd shaft length
and punp mounting flange. Asked for a rebuild on this one
then asked for a copy , then asked for another one but with
a mustang flat flange so I could use a regular 5/8 shaft aftermarket
fan. Returned 1 week later and picked all 3 up with NO special charges
for the custom fans. did have to pay 2 core charges..
