I had my Series 200 Griffith steering wheel restored by Saul Chaplin in
Altamonte, Florida.
He did a terrific job bringing back the cracked and discolored wood as well
as the metal structure - I¹m impressed by his detail work.

At SUNI 5 in S.D. there was a gentleman who restored Tiger steering wheels
and also made steering wheels for Tigers/Alpines. I had his contact
information but in changing phones since then I have lost his name and
number. I have yet to go thru my address book. He called me looking for any
spares I may have had but I couldn't help him. IF anyone knows who I am
talking about, please post any information available for Mayf and myself.
Many regards!!

Larry,

You could use an Alpine wheel; same as the Tiger but with a rim the same
material and color as
the center boss. All functions remain the same.

They are cheap and plentiful.

The steering wheel on my car is fubar. And right now, I do not want to
restore it. I may leave that for the next owner is there is such. I want to
replace it with something fairly nice but not too exotic. I would like to
maintain the adjustability of the system. I am curious as to what other of
you have done to make a pleasant looking functional looking steering wheel
install. A photo and any part numbers would be appreciated.

Any help out there? Point me to a web site? Or?
