Jay,
Yes there is..   I remember your dad's posts about it.
He found its cheap zinc and therefore provided the perfect sacrificial 
metal to protect the other
parts of the engine/cooling system.  Not sure I bought into the theory 
but maybe..  Since it corroded a hole,
maybe he was right, he WAS a very smart rocket scientist!  We all miss him.
How IS the rest of the system?
