[Tigers] Hood bumper

I cant imagine a solution that does not use pins at each corner. The length of the pins will allow choice of opening. With pins you could also lay a length of hose in the center (about 1.5 or 1.75 dia.) and use the pins (adjusted for height) to keep your hood from flying up. The hose should keep the hood open enough for additional air flow.

When I've had hood pins on a car, the easiest bumper was a piece of 1/2 inch ID heater hose.

That may not work for your situation but you could potentially use fuel line or some other kind of hose.

I have all kinds of junk around, but can't think of anything that I could modify that would serve this purpose. Any ideas? A Tiger owner once mentioned something he saw being used, but I can't remember what it was.

Hood hits air cleaner (hi-rise intake with spacer under carb). Looking to
keep hood up a little until I can cut up on old hood and put a scoop on it.
