That is very reassuring to read, because I've just spent more than $500 to
have the stock calipers rebuilt and all the other brake hydraulic parts
replaced. Expending another $1100+ for Wilwoods isn't financially
appealing.
I found it necessary to buy new 15" wheels because the width and aspect
ratio selection on 13" tires is now very limited. My old 235-50R13 BFG T/A
tires mounted on 13x7 American Racing Vectors barely had 500 miles on them
when I disassembled the drivetrain over 30 years ago. They still look like
new but I've read the rubber has lost its resilience and rendered the tires
nearly useless.
