?
Mark, have you run RA1's?
?
The RA1 is not your typical r-comp tire. It is very good in the wet (we've used them for rain tires) and wear is more similar to an ultra high performance street tire than a dedicated track tire. They also?don't attract punctures like a Hoosier or?other?DOT R tires. I've run them on dual purpose cars with good success.
?
But, if the car in question isn't going to be driven hard, the price premium and accelerated wear (I'd?guesstimate?6-7,000 miles on?a Tiger?that is used for the occasional autocross and no track duty)?is hard to justify.

All those tyres listed are soft compound track types, some are DOT approved for road usage but in reality they are not serviceable as they do not workIn the real world of rain and road hazards, plus they are not predictable after a few heat cycles.?The RA1's have a wear rating of 100, which in the?real world are good for maybe 2500?miles. I drive twice that every season?between my two Tigers.?

Mark,
Is it that you can purchase but not run them on the street because they are not certified, or just not available at all.
Some of the tyres listed as auto-x and track? on tirerack are actually street tyres but maybe not road legal in USA???

Outside of track tires (Proxes?RA1, Hoosiers) the choices for Hipo?13" tires are?non-existent.?

I'd love to have a set of Falken Ziex ZE912 in 205/60-13.?

Robert,
I have found a reasonable selection of 13 and 14" tyres in the more sporting segment of the market. Especially if you want "wide"... If by that you mean 195-205?
They are the streetable comp tyres like Dunlop z1 , fallen azenus, Yokohama etc.... What size are you looking for?
I run? Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec and love them.
