Having replaced my outer rockers (and one inner rocker) I can say that the 
two come rather close together (1/2" or so), especial near the front, lower 
edge of the inner.  And, even at the greatest distance at the top of the 
rocker sill there is only about 1" to 1-1/2".  So, it kind of leaves me to 
wonder just how much concave they got (seems like a lot of work for little 
gain)? Or, if there was any compromise of the inner sill?
