I'm just pulling your chain, Ron. I've owned six Mustangs, including a '66
GT350H and a '86 SVO. My brother and I just finished a resto-mod on his wife's
64 1/2 six-banger convertible.

Mark
I understand your point but its also like saying that the Tiger is just a
tarted up Alpine.

We can't totally dismiss the Mustang; without it on the Ford project list for
1962. The history of the Cobra and Tiger could have been completely
different. Henry Ford was still gun shy from the Edsel; the Mustang brought
new hope to him.

Tiger and Mustang are not just a car - they are a life style.

You know Ron, I just cannot understand all this hoopla about a tarted-up
Ford Falcon when the REAL story is the 50th anniversary of THE TIGER!
