Allan,
When I got my first university degree, our graduating class, like many before
it, took a formal oath where we promised to carry out our duties faithfully
and to the best of our abilities. Since that is now quite a while ago, I don't
remember the exact words, but the opening line goes: "I, in the presence of my
peers and my betters...".
This Tiger mailing list has many members with various backgrounds, levels of
automotive skill, and their interests in Tigers may focus on different things.
All of them together is what makes the list an interesting group... Especially
because of how the Tiger came to be, and because many people have been
passionate enough to share their restoration and modification knowledge, and
even to make restoration parts available.
You never know who might have a part or piece of knowledge that you're looking
for... It's not always the same old group, and it's not necessarily someone
with the same views as you.
We're all in this Tiger thing together, and old age, illness and other
circumstances are doing enough to cull our ranks without infighting. If
someone has an interest in Tigers, then they can be here... And it's not our
place to tell them their view has no value.

Theo
