[Tigers] Spark plug trivia

Back in the mid 70's I worked in a Tempo Auto Parts store in the San Gabriel 
Valley.  Those in the area are probably familiar with Blair's Speed Shop. 
Someone (not sure if it was the owner or an employee) would come in and ask 
to see ALL our plugs in the number he specified.  Come to find out that the 
electrodes could be way off center and he wanted to hand pick the best.  As 
I recall he bought 2 or 3 at a time and came in every month or so (shows the 
limited quality).  That was 35 years ago..., but I think he was asking for 
Champions.

We also had a couple of fledgling hot rod guys frequented the store. One 
lived around the corner from me.  Perhaps some of you know them, their names 
are "Pete &  Jake."
