Hi Curt,
 
I came across the spring just by accident. While I was installing the  engine 
in my Tiger I needed a spring but couldn't find one at the local  auto 
stores.  At the same time, one of my sprinklers needed fixing so  I took it apart 
and lo and behold there was a nice stainless spring that fit the  radiator hose.
