Did you tighten the mounts yet? If so, by loosening them some, it will allow 
you a bit of "wiggle" room.  Also -  consider loosening the 3-bolts that 
pass through the inner-fenders into the mounting bracket a little as well.

In addition, make sure you don't have the mounts backwards... That can 
reposition the motor some.
