I think the same procedure still applies: send an email to
majordomo at autox.team.net with the words "sub$cribe tigers" in the body
of the email (not in the subject).
The proper word doesn't have the $ symbol, it has an 's'... The list
server used to refuse emails that had any one of several magic words in
the body. You will get a confirmation email sent to the address from
which you sent that email.

Once you have a subscription, though, you can only manage it using the
'mailman' interface (link at the bottom of any list posting).
