I should clarify my earlier statement " I have been using Mobil 1  
transmission 
oil. It seems to work well and a quart can oils a lot of  clocks." 
 
It should read,  I have been using Mobil 1  automatic  transmission oil. AT 
oil is about the consistency  of light sewing machine oil. It may not be good 
for your jeweled  Rolex.
