Was the speedometer and the data readout in MPH or KPH?

Either way they're still idiots.  I did over 100MPH for a short period
between Munich and Stuttgart a bunch of years back, and will gladly
admit that that was above my comfort level.  New BMW Sedan. At least I
was in good company at the time, lots of folks going fairly fast, and it
was daylight and dry.  At one point we saw some really lurid skid marks
leading to a recently replaced section of guard rail...
