In all honesty, these days at least the Moss people have a clue as to what cars they sell parts for. Vicky Brit turned into a second rate operation years ago. There was absolutely no one there who was dedicated to the LBC business once Long Motors bought them. I pretty much use British Parts Northwest. They have less inventory but the prices are great, as I assume they buy excess inventory or asset liquidations of shops. I used them exclusively when I restored my first car 28(!) years ago, a Spitfire. At the time the sole proprietor was Greg, and now his son Layton pretty much runs it with a few other staff. They are good people, and Greg started the biz to support his SCCA racing habit 40 years ago. Of course, while he’s not buying anymore stuff as far as I know, Peter C at World Wide is the best. Check the eBay store. The parts he has are typically NOS or old school aftermarket. He is an encyclopedia.
The world changes and we have to change with it -
