[Spridgets] Bugeye Won't Run

Pull the hose again, let it fill the jar about halfway and then pinch the
hose off to stop the flow.  Release the pinch.  Does it start to flow again?
Your pump may be bypassing after it sees the first stoppage and may not be
recovering back to normal pumping.
After the jar fills you can try removing the hose at the tank end,
reversing the pump, and back flushing it.
You may possibly have a hose collapsing before the pump.
Try a different pump.
