[Spridgets] Tacho help, please

 Sounds like it is time for a rebuild which will include lubrication.  I had problem with my tach during the restoration of my Bugeye.  It squeaked when it turned.  I lubed it with Kroil Micro Oil and it has been silent for 19 years now.  Not saying that's what wrong with yours, but I think you need to send it in.  Just my 2 cents.
