Thanks guys!  Autospark had the harnesses sub divided by VIN#! For about the same as Viki Brit's sale price!

68 changed to 3 wiper mid year. Also went from having BOTH flying saucer PVC and smog pump, to just smog pump around the same time. The 69 had side markers, but they were not illuminated, they were just fancy reflectors. I would think that the harness should be the same, or damned close, between 68 and 69

Looking to replace my old braided wiring harness on the 1968 Midget.  The new braided ones are awfully expensive and "We Cheap".  There is, however, a PVC harness which is cheaper but listed only for the 1969 MKIII.  Anyone have any experience with that harness?  Are there huge differences from 1968 to 1969 or just a few minor ones?  
Just ordered paint for the Midget  -  Resale/Speeding ticket red!
