Jim,

Sounds like the car has problems with the front springs. What ever reason, sagging, worn out front springs, cut front springs or lowering kit installed on front spring pans, it sounds very much like the front is where your problem is.

Well, you also could have 1500 rear springs installed which will make the car much higher in the back. About 1-3/4" higher in the back if 1500 Midget springs were installed.

I offer a lowering block kit for $86.95. This kit is made in the UK by ARB. Probably the same kit offered by Moss. It consists of cast lowering blocks and longer U-Bolts with Nyloc nuts. If you go to a machine shop and try to get the blocks made, most likely you will spend more money. Then you will have to source the U-Bolts. Easier to buy an existing kit.

Thanks Trevor, Pretty sure I'm going to want to lower the rear as it sat awfully high in the back and nose down before I started to restore it. Mo$$ offers a kit for $106 but that seems like an awful lot of money for two simple blocks and 4 U bolts. Push comes to shove, I may visit Fastenal and my local machine shop and get one fabricated.

Cheers!!
Jim
