Thanks for all the replies.

I should have noted that I have been using silicon brake fluid for about 15 years, primarily because it does not eat paint. Started using silicon when we did the frame up in 1997. Everything was fine until early 2009 when I suddenly lost the brakes - the master cylinder seals had finally given up. I did a rebuild of the hydraulics then and have been unable to get any pedal pressure since. After a number of inquires and looking under the labels on the Moss and other parts it stated "Not for use with silicon brake fluid." At that time I was unable to find any supplier that had silicon compatible seals. Would be delighted to find some seals so as not to change the fluid.

Thanks

I have used silicone for 15 years with no problems. I had to take the master cylinder a part, the seals were a bite weepy after 10 years, everything looked like new inside. I used a seal kit from Moss, good luck.
