I received the (expected) declined message from the bank this morning
so I'm looking to deal. No bites for the Sprite yet, I will take some
better pictures and add "OBO" to my ad.

A word of warning here... The Shipwright's disease affects bathroom
remodeling too!!! I re-did our 1/2 bath last year. It started with the
28 yo faucet leaking more and more. Since that was coming out a new
sink would be good too. Since the old sink had a back and side splash
and the new one didn't a whole paint job was in order. Might as well
update the medicine cabinet too. The new one didn't have the lights on
top of it so a new lamp setup had to happen as well. Since the lamp
was up above the new cabinet I had to run a new power line up and out.
That meant cutting a hole, wiring it and filling the hole. At least it
didn't have to be perfect as the cabinet covered the entire hole area!
We had a wicker cabinet on another wall and decided to replace it with
a cabinet that matched the medicine cabinet.

I painted the walls as I prepared them. I even scraped the excess
paint/adhesive off the tile wall moulding that was there from when the
house was built in 1983. They look better now than ever! Take an
Exacto knife with a #10 blade and hunch over the moulding while
scraping hard enough to remove paint and tile adhesive without
scratching the tile... The sink and faucet went in first. Then the
cabinet to replace the wicker one. I had it ready to hang when I found
that the back of it was punctured by the fork lift prongs at Home
Defect... Pack it up and take it back. Luckily, they had another to
swap. Then I was able to hang the towel racks (new) on the bottom of
the new cabinet. (The original holes from the old towel racks and TP
holder had to be patched.) Then I hung the light and medicine cabinet.
The second shelf for the cabinet was fubar in the box so another trip
to Home Defect to swap it out...

When it was finally done it looked great! The wife doesn't care for
the color that I picked and has let me know about it on several
occasions! My defense is that it is the smallest room in the house
where she spends the least amount of time. Why should it bother her???
I handed her a brush and said make it any color you want... It is
still Phantom Blue!

Oh yeah, it took a while to get it finished!

Good luck,
