Haven't tried the oxyacetyline, but the mig welder is suited for the job in
that you can dial up or down how hot you want to weld.B The oxyacteylene
seems to me to be somewhat less forgiving, but then, I haven't tried it so I
may be wrong.B Whatever you use, if you haven't welded before, B I would
recommend getting some scrap body parts of the same metal and practice,
practice, practice before you go to the real body panel.B It's not really
hard, just requires that you get your technique just right.B B I would also
recommend (highly) one of those instant darkening welder's helmets, as they
allow you to see what you are doing right up to striking the arc.

"Look to this day, for it is life, the very life of life. In its brief course
lie all the realities and verities of existence. The bliss of growth, the
splendor of action, the glory of power. And yesterday is but a dream, and
tomorrow is only a vision. But today - well lived - makes every yesterday a
dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore,
to this day. ~ Sanskrit proverb ~

Anyone have any recommendations for 73 Midget rear panels? Victoria British
does not carry that year?
Do you recommend mig welder for this work? Anyone ever try the welding and
cutting oxyacetylene torch Henrob 2000 also known as DHC 2000?
